Melrose
Melrose is a small neighborhood just south of Downtown with an interesting mix of young adults and families. The main road through this area, Franklin Pike (which becomes 8th Avenue South as you head north), ensures that there’s always plenty happening. While it doesn’t have any high-rise buildings like many other parts of town do – meaning less urban feel than some places might offer–you’ll be hard-pressed not to find something great going on.
West End
West End Avenue is one of the main streets in Nashville that runs through the heart of the city. The most famous attraction on this stretch is Centennial Park with its Parthenon.

Belmont Blvd is a mile strip with bike lanes and wide sidewalks on both sides of the road making it perfect for biking, walking, or jogging.
Belmont Blvd is home to the well-known coffeehouse, Bongo Java. There is also a flower shop, animal hospital, and clothing store. If you live on Belmont Blvd, you can walk to 12 South and Hillsboro Village, but you will need to drive to most of the other areas in Nashville.
Sylvan Park and Sylvan Heights
